Dark to Fair to Dark?

Satisfaction is really hard to achieve for most people. Some of those who have curly hair would avail for hair treatments just to make it straight, while those who have straight hair would want to have some Goldilocks curls. Those who have white to fair complexion would bathe under the sun and apply ample tanning lotion to have a darker complexion while those who are tan would buy every whitening product just to have a whiter skin. Whatever that is that we don’t have, that’s what we want to get. What’s going on?!

Especially in Asia, whitening products are really a hit now making such products as a good business idea. Actually, a lot of multi-level marketing companies offer MLMs that distribute whitening products because of its high demands. From creams for the face, to whitening soaps, lotions and for dark spots, darker skin-toned people, men or women would want to get them. Whitening products are not just restricted for those which are applied to the skin. There are also supplements such as glutathione and grape-seed supplements that could also help in achieving a whiter skin.

Thinking deeper, I wonder why those people would want to have a fairer skin. To achieve a certain skin tone I think is a wrong driving force just to fit in. I think that it’s more important to have smoother skin than a white complexion that’s oh so rough! Gee, that’s a major turn-off. Also, whatever complexion we may have, there will surely be a set of clothes and a type of fashion that will suit each and everyone. The truth is, all you have to do is find your perfect match and create your own style. Be confident with what you wear and you’ll surely beat anyone with the opposite skin tone as yours who doesn’t have confidence.
