Wedding Gown Concepts Then and Now

Have you ever thought when you were a kid, the gown you want to wear on your wedding day? Geez, believe it or not, the only thing that I can draw when I was still a little girl is a woman (the face looks terrible) in a wedding gown. (the gown looks good for a little girl’s drawing) I don’t know what influenced me or how I got the idea but it is still clear in my memory how often my mom would brag to her friends about the gown that I always draw. I no longer have a copy of any of my drawings but I can still remember how it looks like.

It’s a long white gown, beaded from the top down to its very edges; a tube and a long veil that fits perfectly on the waist. An elegant gown that’s sparkling all over.. I’m not really good with adjectives but I can still remember how wonderful it was.

Oh geez, but that was a long time ago. What I want now is this something as detailed and as elegant as the one below:

Elegant Bridal Gown

Or something as pure, delicate and simple as this:

Simple Bridal Gown

Oh I really don’t know why I’m writing about this one. I know it’s still going to be a long way to go. But of course, I still want to wear MY wedding gown someday!
